I sure like Mornings like this Morning!

I got to spend a few minutes*or 1hour & 2Minutes to be exact* on the phone, with a friend from the past. The conversation was so awesome that it just made my morning! It is amazing how just one Simple(there is that word again)phone call can make all the difference in how you think and feel. The kids were still snoozing so it was quiet and I could actually hear and concentrate on what was being said-HOW sweet is that! Anyone with children know how impossible it is to have a good productive phone conversation...The phone rings, and all of a sudden the children need EVERYTHING!! They fight, they start jumping on the furniture...Yeah! I Text!! Anywho...By the end of the conversation, I felt like I could Rock the world!! Thank you so very much for getting in contact with me...and for being so positive and kind. I truly value my friends opinion...I hope She felt the same :O)
It is Friday! Friday is a quiet day around here. Most of the kids have a 4 day school week, so there is no alarm and rushing around. Sass did have to get up early because her Volleyball team left at an early 6am. Justin got to sleep in a little, but he to got up a tad early to go grab some donuts from their seminary teacher...Him and Sass are the only ones who have school on Fridays so....I tend to be a little bit more lazy on Friday mornings! I usually get out and go running, but today...I am taking a break from that as well(I will regret it come Monday-Especially cause I ate a donut :OP).
To kind of sum this post up...Waking up, Sass is already moving and getting ready(on her own), Champ and Tator Tot didn't sleep in our bed, The Adorable One showing me his Glucose Meter that read 118*He hasn't had that kind of reading in the morning for over a month now-Maybe Just Maybe...He will have his blood sugar under control*...Being contacted by someone I haven't talk to in years, the weather is gorgeous, the kids are happy n just chillaxin, there isn't a bunch of stuff to have to get done...It has just been a very nice morning!
Football games tonight and tomorrow-Love watching the boys play...than back to craziness on Sunday...I know-I know...That is suppose to be the 'Rest' Day...But not in this house. Trying to get all 11 of us to church on time by 9am, can be pretty crazy! Sunday's are a rough day...Church is important-But it is quite the challenge to get our family going. I know-I know...Families of the same size or larger are there on time EVERY WEEK...Good for them! I support them all the way-Call me a bad Mother and example...But, if I have no energy and we are unable to comb our hair...We will not be attending! I might just have to write a post all about our experience with getting ready for church and how to have a phone conversation with children!!
Well..It has been a really nice morning...I hope the day continues just the way it has started 'POSITIVE'!
